French Line Lancers
French Chevau-légers lanciers are my favorite Napoleonic cavalry. The mix of hunter green and extensive use of the regimental facing color creates a wonderful combination. The Dragoon helmet with a caterpillar comb completes the classic look of the era. And finally, the lances with their red and white swallow-tail pennons add a dash of danger and a splash of color.

French Hussars - 4th Regiment
Actually 4 regiments all painted as the 4th French Hussars. Even though my basing convention is 1 regiment per stand, it looks better to have all four stands in a division painted as the same regiment for cavalry. This allows me to represent several troopers, plus an officer, a trumpeter, and sometimes a flag bearer. This particular unit actually has an officer, a trumpeter, and a junior officer in busby.
